Veterans Committees

Veterans Service Committee:
This committee will be responsible for implementing the program of the Elks Veterans Service Commission in the furtherance of service to veterans confined in VA hospitals or rest homes throughout the state and give assistance when called upon to the Armed Forces of the United States and to respond to any call for aid.
Veterans Leather Program:
This committee will coordinate the collection of big game hides during hunting season, and assist in getting these hides to a collection area for the GL Veterans Service Commission to pick up for processing and later distribution to our hospitalized veterans for their leather programs.
 
Homeless & Back to Work Veterans Committee:
This committee is working to eradicate homelessness among veterans and get those who can back to work.
Veterans Winter Sports Clinic Committee:
Army of Hope:
The “Army of Hope” has many facets and literally any activity that supports our troops and their family falls under this vital program. Lodges are partnering with local and state organizations to adopt units and families to help them through these trying times.
